Leo’s House of Bagels is the only dedicated producer of authentic New York–style bagels in Greece and all of Southeastern Europe, operating a brand-new, high-standard production facility in Pallini, a suburb of Athens. The company was founded by Leonardos Gavallias, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City—the bagel capital of the world. Leo brings more than 30 years of experience in producing traditional New York bagels, including time spent working at the famed Murray’s Bagels on 6th Avenue. From his childhood days in the restaurant business, Leo dreamed of bringing the true taste of New York bagels to his parents’ homeland, Greece.
Our company’s mission is to continue building on Leo’s dream by producing a full range of authentic, high-quality New York–style bagels and distributing them wholesale throughout Greece and around the world. We strive to make our bagels the heart of unique, enjoyable, and nutritious taste experiences for every occasion, at any time of the day.
